We may not always see the purposes of God in the pain of waiting, yet in the pain we learn to trust the heart of God and take shelter in his unfailing lovingkindness. Followers of Jesus take shelter in the unfailing love and promises of God. In the painful disappointment, and shame, God has promised to meet us and accomplish His good purposes.
