Towards the end of his reign, King David was haunted by a selfish decision to count the fighting men of Israel. Instead of relying on God, he focused on worldly measures of success and pride. Similarly, we are often haunted by selfish decisions and sin we've made in our lives. Where can healing be found? It can be found only in the way God provides: through Jesus.
