In Foundations (our weekly reading through the Scripture) we came across the Ten Commandments. Today we stop to ask about the purpose of the Ten Commandments. Why were they given? How do they look forward to Jesus? What purpose do they serve for followers of Jesus today. In the context of Exodus and through Jesus, we discover the Ten Commandments are words of grace, given so that followers of Jesus can be restored to the life God intended.
