The Hearth, formerly known as Friendship Circle, extends open arms to women of all ages and walks of life. Providing friendship, encouragement and input with a variety of speakers and activities. Along with worship and prayer, The Hearth’s vision is for woman to learn and grow together by studying God’s word. Come on out, and bring a friend!
A weekly women’s prayer group, meeting Tuesday mornings from 9-11 in the conference room (behind the pulpit, across from the secretary's office), for a time of sharing, praying and mutual care. Our focus is praying for the needs of the church, the nation, those serving in missions, and beyond.
Currently we are a group of six ladies who have enjoyed rich fellowship and have seen many answers to prayer. We are not perfect, starchy saints, but real people who have each been on a journey of “Overcoming” at various times in our lives. We welcome you to join us.
Personal requests are kept confidential and may be placed by phone, texting, email or the prayer request box located by the women’s restroom in the main foyer. If you’re going through a difficult time and want to stop in just to receive personal prayer during the 9-11 time frame we welcome that as well…no need to stay. You’re curious but not sure? Feel free to visit a couple times to see if this ministry is a good fit for you. No one is expected to pray audibly.
Come enjoy coffee, pastries, and fellowship. This weekly Weaverland men’s ministry includes Bible study and intercession and is held in Room 151. Men of all ages are welcome!
Tuesdays, 5:00 to 6:00 am
