Dinners with Jesus

Our theme in 2024 is Engaging in Authentic Community. Beginning February 11, continuing throughout Lent, we launch the second 2024 series, entitled “Dinner with Jesus.” 

This series focuses on how Jesus engaged in authentic community, many times where least expected, and often with a meal or at a table amidst food.

Jesus’ audience included dinner with his disciples, dinner with his closest friends, dinner with the despised, dinner with the unclean, dinner with the elite, and even dinner with his betrayer. The final message, Easter Sunday, focuses on the marriage supper of the Lamb.
